Saturday we pulled weeds and mulched the flower beds at Granny's. It was cold and rainy most of the day, so when I tromped into Ellie, it was supposed to be just grab and go. Jeans, red Hunter boots - mud from head to toe. I went in to pick up a little $29 grey jersey shirt. Before I could leave, I saw Joie's Alanna silk floral dress. It was a no brainer, but added significantly to my total.
Dress it up with a heel, or wear it flip flops. The dress comes with a white cotton slip that's comfortable and cool. The pale yellow and grey make a unique color combination and is flatterring for many complexions. It's available at Ellie in Ruxton or online at Bloomingdale's. It doesn't seem to be widely available.
